NTA Launches DAMA Project 

 Since August 2011, NTA kicked off its Demand Assigned Multiple Access (DAMA) project by installing Tele-Centers on different atolls throughout the Marshall Islands.

Two teams, consisting of technicians, were sent to Ailinglaplap (Berang, Woja, Bouj, & Jei islands), Namu, Utrik, Ebon, Namdrik, & Jaluit (Narmij). All were provided with DAMA Tele-Centers, allowing local residents access to the internet, transmissions, and phone calls/facsimiles.

This year, NTA will continue this task by launching ten more new DAMA Sites.

This project would not be possible without the help of local Mayors and Council members.
